You know what it's like sometimes - no matter how long you sit there, wracking your brains, you just can't come up with a single original idea for a game. Not one little inkling of a beginning of an idea. In these times, turn to the pre-written adventures we've got here. With a little customisation they'll fit into your games with no problems, and your players will be none the wiser... ;)
This Series is comprised mainly of short, simple adventures with a clear objective. This was the first time myself and my Crew had played the game so I didn't want to set up an overly elaborate masterplan yet. Nonetheless there is a mix of both intrigue and action in the episodes.
- Ferengi Lust - the greedy Ferengi and devious Riomulans ally to steal the latest Federation technology - the Crew's ship. Time is short as they approach the Neutral Zone and a life in a Romulan prison camp...
- Resistance is not Futile - a unique population hold the secrets of immunity to Borg probes, but they're dying fast and none too eager to leave their homes.
- Earth Lore - Data's evil brother Lore comes into conflict with the Crew as he seeks to capture his brother's Emotion chip - can they stop him?
- Boarding Party - a short, sharp shock for the Crew, as a band of rebel Klingons capture the ship, and head for the Empire intent on causing some serious mayhem.
- Alternative - a new Captain with a curious personality takes over, and encourages the Crew to spend more and more time in the HoloDecks... but for what reason?
- Murder! - it seems impossible, but a Starfleet crewman has turned to the dark side and is resorting to killing his coleagues to protect his name. Can the Crew find him in time?
Ideally, the Crew will find theirselves in a new ship for this series. In the games I played, the Crew transferred to another ship following the end of the first series. However, this is by no means necessary and you can easily customize the details to fit Series 2 in with your campaign.
- Initiation - the Crew must make a number of tough moral decisions as they decide whether to aid the oppressed natives of a remote planet, or side with the wealthy and powerful Oklai.
