Dark Reapers

Dark Reapers are men on a mission. All members are males, who strongly believe in 'The Lord'. The Lord is a figure who represents what the Reapers believe the world should be like. He is, typically, a beast-like creature who does not tolerate weaklings and purifies them. He uses the Reapers as servants to carry out his wishes.

Reapers have visions which inform them as to what their actions should be. They interpret these commands in different ways, but the general idea is usually understood. A Reapers' whole life is devoted to fulfilling these orders, in the belief that one day he will be noticed and rewarded. Carrying out the orders can mean many things, but they justify their actions with the belief that their name did not arise randomly, and they are destined for immortality.

What You Look Like

All Reapers wear the standard uniform. Anything else is seen as defying the will of the Lord. The uniform is a set of black garments made of a silky material. A symbol of some kind sits on each shoulder, praising the Lord while the Reaper works. Down each shoulder runs a thin red line of plaited wool. Dull black boots complete the morbid outfit.

SubCulture

There is little conversation between individual members of the Dark Reapers. The visions come to each while alone, and it is impossible to fully convey one to another. It is also accepted that you only act on your own visions, unless another Reaper calls for help and is facing death.

Reapers meet occassionaly to discuss their visions and where they believe the Lord is taking them. There are no real leaders - that's down to the Lord. Some speak up more at meetings and influence others. No-one has a problem if a Reaper is comprimised by another Reaper who is acting on a vision.

Most visions involve some kind of death, but not all. If a vision shows an eagle swooping to pick a rat from the ground, a Reaper may interpret that as an order to cleanse the city of all CyberEvolved. However long that takes, he will do it, at least until another vision arrives.

It is not known if the visions are real. The Reapers certainly believe thay are, but some say they are under the influence of drugs, or are manifestations of the CyberEvolved. All Reapers say they are messages from the Lord.

Belonging

A Reaper will come to the aid of another if the call is made. This usually means helping to eradicate a particular enemy. In more serious cases, where witch-hunts are launched against the Dark Reapers, the entire YoGang collects to defeat the enemy. Visions are put aside during this time. The conflicts are large and violent, and continue until one side emerges totally victorious, often meaning the eradication of the opponent.

Allies & Enemies

Most YoGangs fear or dislike the Reapers, because they know that you do not consider past favours when pursuing a vision. If you approach them, most will be suspicious and some will even launch a pre-emptive attack, because they think the only reason you would come near them is to kill them. This can maike getting information quite tricky.

YoGang Skill: Deliverance (REF)

A combat skill which allows you to perform the many tasks the Lord will call you to make. You can perform a perfect sacrifice, slit a throat from 20 yards or drop from the rooftops onto the bed of an enemy with a dagger in your hand and embedded in their skull.

It is also your ability to interpret the visions you recieve around every week. The higher your skill, the more accurate your decision will be - but that doesn't mean it will be right all the time.
