YoGangers

1. Print out a character sheet.

2. Choose your Yogang. You'll find a list in the book, or some new ones here.

3. Choose your sex, age, height and weight, and add a simple description of yourself.

4. Choose 4 items from the list specific to your Yogang.

5. Distribute 50 points between the 9 Stats - INTelligence, REFlexes, COOL, TECHnological ability, MOVEment rate, BODY, EMPathy, ATTractiveness and LUCK.

You must have between 2 and 8 points in each Stat. Think carefully about how you place the points - a MegaViolent with an EMPathy of 8 is both odd and useless. Place the highest allocations in Stats you expect to use the most. As a general rule, BODY, REF and INT are the most useful Stats.

6. Work out your wounds. This is equal to your BODY Stat. EdgeRunners (CyberPunk's) use a different system - but then they're stubborn old geezers aren't they, so they would. We'll come to that at some point.

7. Distribute 40 points between your 12 Skills - 11 common Skills used by every Yoganger, plus one Skill exclusive to your Yogang. The other, shared Skills are - Streetfighting, Thief Stuff, JockStuff, Get A Clue, Blend, GenSpeak, StreetSmarts, Fearless Leader, Schoolin', GoGo and Littl' Angel.

Allocate your Skill points carefully. Place high numbers in Skills you expect to use frequently. Also, have high numbers in Skills relating to your Yogang - for example, a BoardPunk could do with a high GoGo aswell as his special Skill Thrash.

8. Go to the Mall with $1000. Buy things you expect you'll need, or you think are plain cool. You cannot yet buy cyberware, as your body is still growing. Some cool stores can be found in the Mall.

9. Randomly roll for your CyberEvolved type, or have the GM choose one for you. Only do this if the GM says so.

10. Choose a 'tag', a name for your character.

11. Perform a celabratory dance in complicated Flatley-style moves to thank the powers that be for allowing you to finish creating a CyberGen character.
