welcome to the cybergeneration areaHello, and welcome to the CyberGeneration area of this site. This section was formerly it's own site named Anhedonia, so you may see references to that name around here, including the image to the side - just let it pass :). This is the largest resource site on the net for the CyberGeneration roleplaying game, with both new material and links to offsite content. If you're one of the game's remaining fans, you'd be mad not to take advantage of the over 45 yogangs, nearly 30 evolved, many mall stores, character generators and piles of other material here. Most material here is written by Richard Carr, the site author, but the site also acts as a very comprehensive directory of all other known CyberGeneration material on the net. It's my aim to keep CyberGen out there, whether R. Talsorian Games support the game or not. I hope you feel the same way.

If you're ready to continue, please choose an area from the drop-down menu to the top left corner to browse to that section. Hopefully you'll find the site's design to be consistent wherever you are, and you can return here at any time by using the Home link at the top and bottom of every page. If you have any questions regarding the site, or have difficulty navigating the site, please feel free to contact me and I'll be happy to answer any CG-related questions you might have.

Thanks for visiting, and I hope you find something here useful.

Announcements

I've been getting quite a few requests recently, asking me to put the CyberGen books online. Obviously this is a massive breach of copyright and something I just can't do; even if RTG aren't developing the game any more, it's still their property and for me, or anyone else, to put everything up on the net would be plain wrong. Aside from having my site shut down and probably sued ;), I think it's worth paying £10-£15 for a real book, if it helps keep smaller houses like RTG going.

CyberGen is a bit more complex than that, though, because no-one seem to be able to get hold of a copy any more. We all know by now that CyberGen is pretty much a minority game, certainly compared to CyberPunk or any other of the myriad of RPGs. That doesn't necessarily mean RTG should just abandon the game, though, as they have. If print publications are beyond the realms of commercial sense, would something on the net be out of question? Even if it's only a small part of what was once promised (the ISA sourcebook, chiefly), it'd be a great step forward and one I'm sure everyone concerned would appreciate. Despite what this site and others offer, you can't beat "official" material, and only RTG can give us that.

And if it gets you lot off my back, it's got to be worth it ;).
